I grew up in the suburbs of Stockholm, Sweden, in a typical family. I’ve always loved the natural sciences, and I suppose most of my fondest hobbies have sprung from that love. Astronomy, physics, biology, mathematics – the whole works. The year I turned 19, in 2005, I began studying the Master of Science program in bioinformatics at Uppsala University, without pause after a tiresome 3 years in the Swedish equivalent to High School, focusing on getting a double degree in both engineering and natural sciences.
At the same time, I’ve devoted my spare time to many different martial arts, starting with boxing at the age of 14. I’ve been snowboarding almost every winter, and playing golf almost every summer (however unsuccessful, seeing as I can’t handle a ball).
Today my spare time is filled with photography, microscopy and MMA, almost always, excluding the martial arts, together with my girlfriend.
